Penny Singleton was an American film actress. Born Marianna Dorothy Agnes Letitia McNulty in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of an IrishAmerican newspaperman Benny McNulty160 from whom she received the nickname Penny because she was as bright as a penny.
